“YUP Connect came out of a desire to bring the city that I live and work in closer together.” Erroll Bomar has lived in Detroit his entire life and one thing he has learned is that Metro Detroiters have very few layers of separation. “My vision for YUP Connect is being a voice of the community by combining individuals who have a desire to improve not only themselves but the communities that they live and work in.”
YUP Connect is currently in the process of being established as a 501c3 organization to offer more services to the community as by hosting workshops, seminars, and conferences centering around business development. YUP will partner with Metro Detroiters to help individuals transition from “dreaming it to achieving it.” Concentration will be placed on branding, networking, selling yourself and your product, and most importantly – giving back.
The most important piece to the YUP Connect network is the Five Core Tenants: Unity, Integrity, Consistency, Efficiency, and Community. These tenants set YUP Connect apart and identifies and operates with them in mind on a daily basis.
